Man, it was just perfect. The restaurant was beautiful, music was great. Food came fast as did the drinks. Burgers were prepared perfectly with very fresh tomatoes, etc. Even dessert was fantastic. Molly, our server, was on top of everything, clearing plates and keeping the drinks coming. Couldn't be happier!

Good good but overpriced. $9 chicken sandwich with no side. Side of Fries $3.49. The staff is nice and it's a clean place. Family friendly. Just not wallet friendly.

Wow. Kind of remarkably bad. There's a Culver's literally 30 seconds from this nightmare, and you'll get a far better burger for somewhere around half the price. Can't fault them for trying, really. The atmosphere is pretty good...they have old school shuffleboard tables and tons of craft beer. But it is a restaurant first, and the food is really, really unappetizing. Our meals had clearly sat underneath the hot lamps for ten minutes plus, and the burger I ordered was comically engulfed by the bun. Yet another restaurant in the Strack's plaza that is certain to crash and burn. That place is cursed. Bring back Masala Jack's. At least the food was decent.

Way too pricey for what you get. The food is fine and their speciality made pop was good. I just don't think that a meal of burgers and sandwiches, appetizers, drinks (everyone had pop/tea with the exception of 2 jack and cokes) for a party of 6 adults should be over $125 plus tip. Service was fine. Nothing to write home about. Not worth the price to return. There are many other restaurants that offer better food options for less money in the area.

I spent a few lunch periods at the Scherville location and enjoyed myself greatly so I was very happy to hear of a Bagger Daves opening in crown point. Today was my 3rd visit and I was appalled to see staff members climb upon a table in sock feet to correct an issue with the train and NOT clean the table afterward. I'm a "sit at the bar" kind of guy, so I informedAlex (my bartender at the time) that he better never allow people on the bar in sock feet! The bar staff has been more then fantastic so far and that my preferred seating area as I'm a craft beer drinker. The tap beers are great and I love the idea of Bagger Dave's locally. However, from what I've overheard, the wait staff is less then nice and one tends to use terrible language for a family place. Hopefully management will thin out these problem employees over the next few week and I'll be more comfortable at a table, a bar seat or carry out. Until then, I'll be wiping my own space when I arrive. If I find things change I will certainly update my review!

We stopped on a road trip from Chicago to Charlotte. Huge selection of sandwiches and burgers. Incredible Spicy Mac n cheese. Service was great, location was very clean and only about 5 minutes from I-65.

We took friends go try out this new place everyone in CP has been talking about. The look and decor is very cool and my two year old loved the train. However, the service could use some more training. We came in and asked for a table for 6 (4 adults, 2 kiddos) and waited 15 min for them to get a table together. Mind you - there were about 6 tables open! Not sure what that was about. Our waitress was very sweet, but was so soft spoken we could barely hear her over the loud acoustics of the restaurant. She kept asking us what our burgers came with - shouldn't you know that? The food was great and their homemade diet cola was mighty tasty. Overall, I would go there again...just maybe not for awhile until they have their service down pat.

Giving one star, only because we liked the fries. Food was not good otherwise. Portions small, prices high. Service awful-started clearing plates while still eating, no extra napkins, no ice in ice tea, overall just bad experience. My husband says they should call it Beggar Daves, as they will have to beg people to go there!

My husband and I arrived for an early dinner at just after 5 PM. There were few customers so we were seated and waited on in a timely fashion. I felt paying as much as we did for our sandwiches with out any fries to go with them was a bit on the pricey side. Not a fan either of their homemade drinks. I felt the experience was just okay.

Service was bad. We ordered a vegetarian garden salad, sent it back twice because it had chicken and bacon in the salad, and the lettuce was a light shade of brown. She ended up not eating. Fries were very small and cold. Not surprised that the place was empty on a Friday night.

Expensive burgers and lackluster fries. Prolly worst fries I have had. 2 burgers and 2 beers and a small appetizer was 40 plus . Place is a joke . Won't be back

Nice job for a new place ! Food was very good and I love the 1/2 price beers on Thursday . They were still training when I went and my experience was pleasant. This place blows 5 guys away ! I'll be back soon

The idea of burgers and craft beverages is great. Unfortunately the craft sodas were very flat and the burger left a lot to be desired. $10 for a burger that doesn't come with a side seems considerably expensive considering our location. The service was very good but also very "new." The half off craft beer special on Thursdays will definitely bring me back but we'll be eating beforehand.

Was Super excited about the sloppy dave & when I went was super disappointed it was nothing like on the website there was a light spread of meat ,although it had the potential to be good it wasn't , the chili was very good ! The service was good as our waiter kept checking on us ! Will give it another try in hopes of a better experience!

Was really looking forward to a new burger place in CP and was truly disappointed. Way over priced for what you get. Burgers are small and the fries cost extra. Servers have not been well trained and are inattentive. If you love craft beers you will like their selection. I was especially disappointed with the BLT. 3 pieces of bacon tops. I will say the meat is very good- high quality but very small portions. Went twice to be sure it wasn't a fluke on my first visit - it wasn't.

As a server brought my husband's burger, she noted that he had ordered egg on his burger--but he didn't. In fact, there was no egg on his burger, but what looked to be raw egg whites sitting next to burger. We brought it to our waiter's attention, he showed his manager and they ordered him a new burger. A second manager came over and asked what had happened. After 10 or so minutes, a new burger came but neither of us had an appetite to eat our burgers. What we were able to eat was less than mediocre quality. The waiter brought our bill and assured us that the first burger was taken off. We assumed he meant we would not be charged for my husband's burger..we were wrong. They, so kindly, did not charge us for the burger with the unknown slimy substance on my husband's plate. They did, however charge us for the second burger he received which he barely even ate because we honestly just wanted to leave at that point. I am most amazed that four employees (the cook, server, waiter, AND manager) saw the substance sitting on my husband's plate and didn't see the evident HEALTH RISK with serving raw egg whites, especially to a person that didn't even order cooked egg. And to charge us for a replacement burger..so incredibly disappointed and even more disgusted. Will certainly never visit this restaurant again.

Went there with my wife and 3 year old, had honestly never heard of the chain before. Kiddo loved the train going in circles. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her burger with its vegetation, I had a 4 oz with bacon and smoked gouda. Bacon was excellent, burger could have been a little juicier (they will only cook med-mid well). We split the sweet potato chips and the fries, both were really good. Daughter had the twisted mac n cheese...it was honestly one of the best mac and cheeses I've had in my life. I was told it was a tad pricey, but $50 for 3 to include dessert and a drink is more than reasonable to me. We have both agreed that when we come to town to visit family we will absolutely be making a return visit. Our sever Morgan took great care of us and was very attentive. The manager even poked by to see how my daughter was liking the Mac n Cheese, since some kids aren't used to a non-boxed flavor profile.

Really good place. Creative food. Fun atmosphere. They have many sodas to choose from. Not perfect but overall I really liked it.

Sadly this place will not last. Love the idea of craft beer and soda. The service was very slow, good was poor, waitress couldn't understand the "make your own fries" option on the menu. Good arrived cold after a long wait with out waitress ever showing up again. Won't be back.
